Playing with Poetry

I thought I'd be sick of writing in verse after the April PAD challenge. But I grew an appreciation for it. And thanks to Robert Lee Brewer at Poetic Asides, I have weekly prompts!

This week it's to "tell it like it is" - a haiku

Good Old Joe

Coffee makes me smile
The color, the taste, the scent
Cream and sugar, please!

    I also love my coffee ... it's actually developed into a weakness & I consume far too much of it !! I also love the haiku !

    I could just print this out and post it in my kitchen. I big heart coffee. I only take it with almond milk. Dang! Now I want some coffee.

    I can't start my mornings without coffee. I don't know how people don't like it! You should really look into marketing it- it would go well with the coffee drinkers of the world :P
