crisis management

Good Sensational Haiku Wednesday to you!
This week's topic is crisis...

Some crises are big

The destruction of
democracy by the sad
loss of compromise

Some crises are trivial

You've already gone
and can find no TP in
the vicinity

Some are personal

Discovering your
original idea
already in use

Got any struggles or crises this week? Hope they are small ones!

  1. Nothing I can't handle. But I wish life could be all sunshine and rainbows and leprechauns throwing gold, lol!

Wishing you a great week, Tara! I added the Monday Quote Day badge to my sidebar. Thanks again so much!! My Feb, MQD posts are already scheduled, but I'll be blogging about your wonderfulness in a couple weeks. :)

  2. No crises this week, except watching all the homes I was interested in buying being sold off to other people. haha, never mind, I'm not approved with finance yet anyway so I couldn't have got in there. It just gives me a sense of urgency!

With creative stuff, I'm all good. Being quite leisurely about it though.

  3. Well.... that got me thinking.

The personal ones can be daily sometimes, right?

  4. Had I a crisis I'd share.
    But none so no need.

  6. My crisis was small. I was last to sign up on the sheet for my son's preschool Valentine day party, and I'm stuck supplying the fruit. The kids aren't going to pay any attention to that when they have treats to eat!

  9. Wonderful! I always read there are no original ideas-- just new twists to them. ;)

  10. Great haiku! Love the photo too.

No struggles this week . . .well, except going over the proof for my paperback and trying to make sure that it's error free . . .

  11. Oh man, not the TP crisis. I HATE that. Also, the loss of democracy seems bad too. Great Haikus!

  12. My crisis is aging against my will. I need a time machine (or anti-aging cream, ha!).

    Great Haiku!

  14. Except for the really big and global crises, we can only do what we can...And there are some folks who choose to live their lives in self-made crises....The TP issue does qualify as a HUGE crisis!

  17. Oh my goodness...tragic- too funny (and too true!)- and sigh, but I'm sure yours is better...

  18. Not at the level of political failure, but I'd say that 2nd one is a bit above the trivial.

    Cheers!

  19. No TP is definitely a crises! And it really sucks the big one when your idea is already taken :(

    Loved the haiku! Happy Wednesday!

  20. Excellent haiku's

I think we've all experienced the second one.

And I was just talking about the third one on someone else's blog. Some writer stole the name of the MC in my WIP. First and last name. AND her Dante Walker works for Lucifer as a soul collector. My Dante Walker made a deal with Lucifer to get out of Purgatory.

What are the chances of that? I swear I'd never heard of her books until I saw someone with a blog badge up featuring the character Dante Walker. SO bummed! How dare she use my idea? haha ;)

  22. Love your take on the theme. I also thought of crisis management but knew I could not put together the words like you did. What a chubby, little darling that is!
