PAD, Day 13 - relationship
form I'm using: Monotetra
Kenny
As I think back to second grade
I was the shortest little maid.
I had a friend I wouldn't trade
As short as I, a match we made.
An awkward girl, I liked to kick
My friends of male persuasion, ick!
Abuse he took, with me he'd stick
And make me laugh thru thin and thick.
Alas I had to move away.
But we still wrote, the things he'd say.
Rush and Garfield, college away.
Long lost friend until this day.
(sorry to disappoint but this is a past relationship, I have no idea where he is today.)
Nice job on the Monotetra!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a great subject. I still remember many of my friend from grade school, but unfortunately we've lost touch.
Yay for Kenny's return! How did he find you or you him?
ReplyDeleteI haven't found him. His name is way too common. Lost touch after college...such is life.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried to find him on facebook? I've found so many long lost friends, not all that reciprocated of course LOL! But most did.
ReplyDeleteWe want Kenny! LOL.
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteI also have a lost friend that I'd love to connect with again. I've tried finding him and have had no luck. Maybe someday...
Hey TTT ~~ enjoyable !! Thanks for sharing !!

Ah, Kenny, wherefore art thou?
ReplyDeleteLovely to meet you and follow you. (Hint, move your Follow up to the top of your sidebar. Bloggers are in a hurry.)

Nice to meet you and you did well with this poem. I kind of wish you and Kenny had reconnected.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteAt least you got a sweet poem out of the relationship. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteCheers!

Awe, I have friends I've tried looking up on social networking sites, but their names were to common to find and they were the ones who moved so I don't have school information =(
ReplyDeleteWow, I really enjoyed this. I couldn't begin to write anything this nice
