What have I done worth remembering?

Many good things, but unique?

My jobs would get done

My friends would survive

My place could be filled

By another.

What have I done worth remembering?

Affected the world, have I?

One more daughter to mind

One more sister to pest

One more person to

Squander the earth.

But I’ve done one thing worth remembering.

Three special things just from me.

The sons of my being

The sons who’ll grow up

The sons with big dreams

To achieve.
