My little buddy died tonight.
He was too young, it’s just not right.
He left his family and friends
Such a positive influence.
I only knew him in his youth
A friend indeed who spoke the truth.
Talked each other out of sadness
Laughed ourselves away from madness.
His first girl turned into his wife
Dedicated to her, his life.
To his kids a fine example
A home with love more than ample.
From this cruel world, his life taken,
Up in heaven soon to waken.
His family will miss him most
And all his friends from coast to coast.
I'm so sorry. Losing a friend is always tough.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss. It is a tragedy when anyone dies, but for someone so young it does not seem fair. Sending you lots of virtual hugs.
