Thanksgiving Eve

I'm so behind!
Here are some poems & pictures...

For Sensational Haiku Wednesday, ponder (I was feeling alliterate)

Pesky Predators

Pondering plunder
Pirates pass parlay pleadings
And push off the plank
(Capn Jack @ Disney)

And the PAD #23 topic is travel, so in keeping with my sea faring theme and the approaching holiday...
Thankful for the Pilgrimage

Hardships of voyage
Sickness, hunger, filth, and death
Pilgrims grinned and bore

Thankful

Sailing through the life
Hoping choices bring blessings
Thankful for each one

More pics later =)

  1. LOVE IT! And I have to laugh that your title is "Thanksgiving Eve." My son was telling me early how today should officially be called, "Thanksgiving Eve!" lol. So fun! Have a great Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see more pics :)

  2. Hooray for more pics! Nice temps and low crowds---Novemeber is THEE best month to go!

Love your Pirate/Pilgrim Poems. It's ridiculous how giggly I get whenever Cap'n Jack comes around---dang he looks good! Hey, were the orange shirts on purpose?

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and happy late birthday (sorry I missed it. :( )

  6. Looks like loving life lots! Not the best sentence but I was inspired by your alliteration.

  9. Witty. Made me smile. I like the first one especially. All the 'p' words reminded me of that old tongue twister. :) Sounds like you had fun making them. Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving Eve and Day.

  10. As far behind as you may be, I am so much further! Sorry I'm waaaay late this week, it's been a rough one time-wise.

I adore the alliteration ;) Sometimes I speak that way just to annoy my teenager...

"Pirates pass parlay pleadings" - love it!
