I went to college in Arkansas, what a hoedown! And while I was there, I fell in love with the Southern dialect, even picked up a bit of an accent. Y'all hear it once in a while. Anyway, a friend on facebook posted this and I had to pass it on...
Oh! And if you ever thought of being in a band - here's a way to name it (from another friend on facebook - it's perfect fun, useless nonesense, ain't it!)
Answer these two questions and that's the name of your band:
1) What are color are you wearing?
2) What did you just eat?
Mine at the time was: Plaid Fish! which was very weird since I hardly wear plaid or eat fish. What's yours?
Rock on! Have a kickin' weekend!
Black food bar. Hmm, not very death metal, is it?
ReplyDeleteYellow toast. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Tara!
Blue Bagel. :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, what kind of music would they play? Bluegrass? Country? Acid rock?
Happy weekend, everyone!
I guess I'm starting a band called Red Waffles. I think we're a Belgian jazz group. :)
ReplyDeleteDenim Fish... a contemporary-styled group! LOL.
ReplyDeleteGreen Yet . . I haven't had Breakfast yet . . . but I'm planning on cereal. Green Cereal just sounds bad. I think it would have to be a punk band. It's Flaxseed Cereal so it could be, Green Flax . . .um, ew.
ReplyDeleteThat's kind of fun.
Love those 10 commandments!
Oooo fun game...
ReplyDeleteThe Gray Milanos (yes I ate cookies for breakfast). It sounds alternative to me, or maybe a semi sensible shoe.
I laughed all the way through those commandments!!!
ReplyDeleteThose groups sound like something Rigby would dream up, " Trash Boat " Ha!
Here's mine, Flowered Eggs.
mom
So fun! I love it.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's "Stained White Smoothie"
Haha that has a ring!
blue waffles--love this haha:)
ReplyDelete@ Alex - Naw...black food bar doesn't really have that death metal ring to it lol!
ReplyDeleteMine would be Polka dot pizza. Uh... lol!!!
Tye Dyed Pizza :)
ReplyDeleteHah! Mine would be Black Twizzlers! Funny stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreen yogurt? Doesn't have much of a ring to it.
ReplyDeleteLove the 10 Commandments
I didn't know you went to college in Arkansas!! That's not TOO far from me over here in Vol Country you know...
ReplyDeleteAs for my band, I don't see Purple Chicken Fingers making it to the big time. But that could just be me :)
well, it would either be green coffee or plaid coffee since I'm still in my jammies and have only had coffee. But trust me, no one wants me in a band. I can't sing to save my life and only had 2 years of clarinet which I've quite forgotten.
ReplyDeleteOohh. Mine is Grey Life! Emo band here I come :)
ReplyDeleteI'm Blue Chips! Hehehe! Plaid Fish is a cool name, though. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletePink Stew! I guess I'm in a punk band, with a pink mohawk. haha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun game. Gotta love Facebook..
I also love the hillbillie commandments. Very funny, but still simple and to the point. :)
Hope all is well with you! I've been very MIA lately and really need to get back in the groove of visiting my blog friends.
love all the band names! groovy!
ReplyDeletealex - black food bar? come on! what kind of food bar? black granola is totally metal head banger!

jessie - definitely a ring to that one!
lynn - you should merge with LG and make the purple waffles!
angela - i picture a pepperoni group! fun music!
gossip girl - another pizza, this one sounds vegetarian and folksy! or psychedelic!
lisa - black twizzlers is awesome! any twizzlers, really!
LD - green yogurt, sounds like a sci fi band for some reason (maybe i'm thinking of spaceballs)
samantha - maybe not, but purple chicks is good! and purple clashes with vol orange, ha ha!
