And speaking of Halloween makes me think of my favorite candy - chocolate!
Which brings me to the delicious, delectable, delightful, chocolate covered bloghop, What's Your Chocolate? Hosted by M. Pax, Laura Eno, Brinda Berry, and Ciara Knight. The only unbelievable story I have to share about chocolate is that my oldest son doesn't like it! In recent years, he has come around and now likes a few chocolaty items, but it's not something he craves. And don't ask me where it came from, it sure wasn't me! I need my chocolate.
I also compiled a few chocolaty lists...
Forms of chocolate I love:
- brownies (my #1 weakness)
- donuts
- cookies
- cake
- on strawberries
- fondue
- fudge
- truffles
- pudding
- hot cocoa
- Mounds
- Heath
- M n Ms - ever been to a store? be careful! it's tempting to get too much! all those colors add up!
- Three Musketeers
- Hershey
- Special dark
- Kit Kat
- Crunch
- Krackle
- Kisses
- Reeces
- Whoppers
- Raisinettes
- Butterfinger
- boxed chocolates - creme filled
- chocolate flavored pop or coffee
- ice cream, unless it's mixed with cookies or caramel, mmm
- no nuts in my chocolate, please!
- no sprinkles
- chocolate covered cherries
- off brand chocolate bunnies, etc - not the same!
- white chocolate is okay but best on pretzels
What's your favorite or least favorite chocolate?
Another great thing about Fall and Halloween is blogfests - like this one I found:
Spooktoberfest! is brought to you by Jackie and Dani. Isn't that a cute, spooky button! Looking forward to some good ghost stories! And sweet prizes of course.
And don't forget, next Monday is Alex's Genre Party blogfest. There's so many to choose from!
What else is coming up?

Mmm, chocolate! All this talk of it is really making me crave it!
ReplyDeleteI can identify with your son. I'm not really a choccie fan. II can go without chocolate for weeks at a time... strange, but true!
ReplyDeleteI don't tend to like chocolate protein shakes. But I adore chocolate cake and brownies and fudge and cookies and ice cream and pretty much all over forms...
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite time of year too.
No nuts in the chocolate, and no raisins either!
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning my blogfest. One more week!
I think chocolate together with peanut butter is one of man's best inventions - ever! :)
ReplyDeletechoc and PB! yum
ReplyDeleteYou know, you could have at least had a warning on this post first. Now I have a craving for chocolate for breakfast. :P
ReplyDeleteMy favorite time is late September. The leaves are turning color (therefore they are still on the trees). There is an optimal week when everything looks amazing. Then it all looks dead and snow constantly threatens to visit (and not in the beautiful, wintery way it can have).
WHY did I choose to start my diet today? These posts are making me insanely hungry for chocolate! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blog fest reminders. I've got some signing up to do.
I started to make a list, but it was getting far too long. I agree about the white chocolate - in my opinion it's not even proper chocolate because there's so little cocoa.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest son doesn't like chocolate either.
ReplyDeleteThat pic of chocolate goodness looks so yummy!
Thanks so much for mentioning our blogfest!
I don't like my coffee and choc mixed either. It just seems wrong to me. Hence why I don't have mocha.
ReplyDeleteHi Tara .. you've listed quite a few there - you obviously enjoy your chocolate ... chocolate brownies are number one in many households I guess - they must be gooey in the centre ..
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary
I'm hungry now, Tara, and I just had breakfast.
ReplyDeleteGimme Chocolate. Delicious post Tara and I'm just aching for Spooktoberfest to start.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, yum!
ReplyDeleteyeah i am not about chocolate in my coffee or ice-cream unless it's hot fudge sauce on a vanilla sundae :)
ReplyDeleteTruffles!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGuess who?
Be right back, got to go get a piece of choc.
He didn't get it from any one in our family.( not liking choc. )
mom
A lovely list! I could only imagine how giddy I'd be if I were in a room with all this... I love all kinds of chocolate. Right now, I'm thinking of truffles...maybe that picture you have up is influencing me somehow. =)
ReplyDeleteNow I'm hungry ;)
ReplyDeleteI like my chocolate in the form of CAKE
I love your list of chocolate foods! I personally love dark chocolate - 70% cocoa or higher. I do not like white chocolate. That's not even chocolate in my book!
ReplyDeleteYour list. Wow. You and I could have a great chocolate party together. I don't like chocolate with nuts, pretzels, or anything salty either. I'm a sweet lover.
ReplyDeleteAll manner of chocolate is great! And the Spooktoberfest sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteCatherine Stine’s Idea City
I started to make a list, but decided I need side-by-side taste testing to put them all in order. I have some research to do!
ReplyDeleteOh, that chocolate. I might just have to start Halloween a little early!
ReplyDeleteSpooktoberfest sounds fun! Thanks for the head's up!
My hubby's big weakness is brownies, too. The ooey gooey ones!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh! Chocolate brownies, warm, with vanilla ice cream. Best. Dessert. Ever! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Your list of not like is much shorter than what you do like.
ReplyDeleteI think I've overdosed on raisinettes at some point in the past.
ReplyDeleteI don't like chocolate covered cherries, either. Thanks for joining the blog hop. I'm a new follower. ;)
ReplyDeleteOoh I loved your list of chocolatey goodness. Chocolate flavored pop? I don't think I'd be a fan of that either, but I do love chocolate covered cherries. ;)
ReplyDeletesharing chocolate is the best camaraderie! thanks for shring with me!
ReplyDeleteNo nuts?! Well, I guess chocolate tastes good without nuts, I just really like it with nuts.
ReplyDeleteSpookterberfest sounds fun!
And Happy Birthday early!
I cracked up about the off brand bunnies, it's so true. They are always awful LOL. Also hate nuts with my chocolate, nothing ruins a brownie faster for me.
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite time too, so glad we're almost there! :)
Ah!!! Way too much chocolate in this post! Too overwhelmed, must look for chicken burger... :3
ReplyDeleteWhat a list...I love chocolate without any filling in it and it has to be milk chocolate.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has never liked chocolate either! That's okay. I always got her halloween chocolate candy. :) Thanks for joining the blogfest!
