It is weird to promote myself. Can't these books just sell themselves?
ReplyDeleteNo? Drat.
I just wrote a sonnet today. My daughter had to write a poem about the foundress of the religious order who runs her convent school. She needed some help as she was facing writer's block. To make her laugh, I made up some funny limericks which nearly drove her crazy. Then I said 'hey, why don't we write a sonnet?' So we did. Well I did. Four quatrains and a rhyming couplet.
ReplyDeleteBut I can't write haikus. Must put in some practise.
