DO wear comfortable shoes!
DON'T worry if you're late or get lost, or even have to cancel - it's okay!
DO make a checklist so you DON'T forget important items!
DO bring something to DO - like the rough DRAFT of your next WIP!
DON'T be afraid to start a conversation - paying a compliment works wonders to break the ice!
DO be friendly and smile!

Great Dos and Don'ts. I always remember to bring water and wear cushy shoes. I miss Dana too. Have a very happy Easter! :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent bloggers to feature! Sorry Dana isn't blogging anymore. It's always sad when we lose one.
ReplyDeleteGreat group of bloggers you highlighted.

Excellent Dos and Don'ts and very excellent (if that's possible) authors/bloggers you've featured today.
ReplyDeleteI know all your bloggers except one. I always make a list but don't usually bring anything to do. Too busy talking with other writers.
ReplyDeleteDo wear comfortable shoes! Love that, I cringe everytime I see someone stumbling around trying to look good and you can tell they're miserable, uncomfortable and therefore they don't look cool. At my age, ONLY comfortable in my wardrobe.

All excellent bloggers!
ReplyDeleteAnd those tips are great. I'm taking note. ;)
Aw, thank you, Tara.
ReplyDeleteDON'T be afraid to wander. Talk to people and hand out bookmarks. You'd be surprised how many will follow you back to the table to get a book.
DON'T forget that you're a dynamic blogger yourself, Tara.
ReplyDeleteGood advice, as well.
Great advice!
