Welcome to this month's installment of the Insecure Writer's Support Group!
BTW, now that my Simulation release tour is over, let me know if there is something I can plug for you!
Like M Pax's Realms Faire!
SIMULATION is a prize in the VelociRaffle. It's a rafflecoptor and the booty is divided into 6 packages. Each lot has a giftcard with it - check it out!
The Realms Faire is Nov. 9-13th.
The raffle opens at midnight on the 9th and closes at midnight on the 13th.
PS - Randi Lee offered to guest post me and it went up today! Yay! Stop by if you get a chance - the Lazy Housewife is talking about being a kid again...
Hope this Fall is turning out to be a bountiful season!
Hope this Fall is turning out to be a bountiful season!
No burden except I have a lot of IWSG stories to read now...
ReplyDeleteBring on the Realms Faire! I'm ready.
Such fun, I'm looking forward to the Realms Faire, I'm in the Joust, even though I've no idea what I've gotten myself into. LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy November!
Don't need any plugs at the moment. But I will next fall! ;) My current burden: shuffling through three stories that want to be written at the same time.
ReplyDeleteMy burden - and blessing! - this month is NaNo. I complain, but I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteLife is taking over and the author me is getting pushed aside. I'm not sure when things will get better again. :(
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your books and with Realms Faire.
IWSG #115 until Alex culls the list again
I always look forward to IWSG for the support and listening to other. Always makes me feel better about my own insecurities.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to release one book in December, down from the three I'd initially hoped to release over the course of this entire year. I figure it'll probably sell all of two copies and then not sell anything again, just like the other three books I released, but it can't hurt to at least try.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lot of success with your tour! I'm just hoping I get things done. I think that's the story of many writer's lives.
ReplyDeleteMy burden is social media and how bad I am at it.
ReplyDeleteI love hearing about your writing journey - whether it's up, down, sideways, or in the washer on spin cycle. I'm currently on spin cycle, anyway.
ReplyDeleteHappy writing! (And, I'll stop by with Randi Lee)
You are always an inspiration. Getting the words out to a finished conclusion is my burden.

Hi Tara! The Realms Faire is greatly anticipated. It's great reading about others' triumphs and experiences. I hope your tour was successful. I must look out for Stimulation! Speaking of plugs, I've just self-pubbed a paranormal novella if you'd like to read it...or, anything? Just email me and I'll send you a free copy...

Denise Covey November co-host IWSG
I'm determined to focus on the positive. While I haven't written anything new for my W-I-P, I've participated in a local teacher's conference and made a lot of connections and sold some books. So that's a major plus!
ReplyDeleteHi Tara,
ReplyDeleteAll the best with The Realms Faire. Any problems you experience, of course, are just as valid as anybody. Although, I relate to what you've said.
I have no problems, only solutions....
Take care and happy writing, Tara.
Gary :)
I think "time" is always an insecurity for me. I just want to have it stand still for a while. Think you can handle that one for me :)
ReplyDeleteUps and downs are good, shows a steady journey. Realms Faire should be fun this year.
I like to think everyone has their troubles, big or small, and they shouldn't be afraid to share them. People can really help! For me, I'm just really busy with research papers and the like. I can't wait to have more time to write my own fiction.
ReplyDeleteMy life is currently a bit of a whirlwind, but at least most of the whirls are friendly! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Tara ... good luck with the writing and just doing what you need to do - there's lots of problems out there - it's dealing with each as quickly as possibly and not wasting time ... we need balance too - cheers and good luck with Realms Faire .. Hilary
ReplyDeleteBeen seeing a lot of posts about Realms Faire lately. Sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for fall to arrive... And we all feel insecure at one point or another and some of us at more points than another...
ReplyDeleteI love how writers can lift each other up and chase those insecurities away. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope your tour went well! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for The Realms Faire! Fun! :)

Just feeling glad to be part of such a wonderful online community and grateful for the encouragement I get from you all. :) Yay for the Realms Faire!
ReplyDeleteA burden . . . pffft!
ReplyDeleteHow long do we have? I have a laundry list of things . . . nah, kidding. Sort of. But it's nice that you offer a lending ear. I just checked out the post over at Randi Lee's blog, and let me tell you: a slumber party sounds perfect right now!!!
