You Can Keep the Change

Poetic Asides weekly poetry prompt, how things change...

Why is it so
That once I find
A product or item
Comfortably mine,

The maker decides
Its prime is past
And pulls it down
In no time fast!

So stock up now,
It'll happen to you.
"The good die young,"
It's sad but true.

and now a word about one more blogfest. I couldn't resist Writing with Shelly's "Poetry Schmoetry" blogfest. It's another quickie, but the list is growing! Join in, even if you don't write poetry you can just talk about it =)

  1. I so enjoyed this poem because it made me laugh.

For me, it's more that I like a particular flavour of food, but for whatever reason, it gets discontinued. I guess it must mean I have bad taste. lol.

    Thanks Tara.

  4. How true is this! Especially with cosmetics. And my town has gone wacky on granola bars lately. They keep disappearing ... and my favorite, organic ginger beer.
