HA! That is so true about names. I have a very unusual last name, but evidently I share my entire name with quite a few people in Georgia.
LOL! Perfect. And I so love that last quote. :)
Haha, nice!
I've found that I'm the only "Laura Josephsen" on Amazon...there are a lot of people with the last name Josephson, but I have the Norwegian spelling, so it's at least not AS common. ;) (Though people misspell it ALL THE TIME. Or call me "Mrs. Josephine.")
Great quotes! My name isn't unique at all either; that's why I go with my first and middle name on my blog instead. My maiden name was rather ethnic (Italian) but there were still a bunch of Lauras with my last name. And no one could pronounce it or spell it. Now my married name is even more common. Though the spelling isn't as common, which is actually even more annoying because no one spells it right. Even when I spell it out for them, they STILL spell it wrong. How does that even happen, LoL!
Haha.. great quotes.. I especially love that last one! :)
Awesome quotes! I didn't think my name was so unique, but I didn't think I'd have to fight in claiming it for a domain name either.
I LOVE your second quote! So true...
So far as I can find, I am the only Alana Garrigues, so that's good to know. ;) Google does think there are a couple of me, but it's all just past addresses and places I've lived, so I'm going with technology is stuck instead of someone has copied my identity! (fingers crossed.)
Yes, so true re. second quote. When I'm frustrated, I have to repeat to myself - this is all just temporary. Sometimes it works. It definitely works to help me appreciate the good and was great for the transition to stay at home mom, to appreciate the time I could spend with my kids, knowing if and when it's time to join the work force the option will be there!
Angie, so cothran is southern? maybe southern for catherine, ha ha
Liz, thank ya.
Laura J, people call me Laura or Kara or Carol...
Laura M, mine are my first and middle too =)
WritingNut, thanks!
Christine, i think thats why people are trying so hard and actors are using their middle names more often
