Congratulations! Whether you wrote 50,000 words this month, met your revising goals, or none of the above - YOU TRIED! YOU WROTE! and YOU ARE FARTHER ALONG THAN YOU WERE!
Many completed NANOWRIMO early or exceeded NANOREVMO goals, some gave up on the daunting daily word counts, and others were attacked with nasty viruses...Just remember, no one fails who tries! If you care about your progress or lack of, then you will figure out how to improve! And now that the pressure is off, you can continue at your own pace, set reachable goals, and KEEP WRITING!
Just like a novel, it may come to an end, but it isn't the end of the story, so too with writing - it goes on and on!
As for NANOREVMO - I don't want it to end! These friends have been so inspiring and encouraging throughout this month of extensive writing and crazy home schedules. I appreciate just reading everyone's progress, and enticing last lines of the day! I am hoping this Facebook sharing group continues, making every month a REVision MOnth! And if you're interested in participating, let me (or Jessie B) know and we'll get you signed up! The more the merrier!
Speaking of merry - now I must deck my halls! Crank that Christmas music! Bring on the snow! Cocoa anyone?
I would join in RevMo Ing, I need the encouragement!
ReplyDeleteI did it! I finished NaNo on November 24th! :D
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone who participated!
ReplyDeleteThat's right - if you tried, you succeeded!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners - and to all those who gave it a shot - and to everyone who gave something a try over the past month/week/day or two. :)
ReplyDeleteCute picture, Tara!
ReplyDeleteI didn't participate in any NaNo event, but it's been fun watching everyone work hard to meet their personal goals.
The revision group should keep going. Revision is a never ending process. At least that's how it feels.
I don't want NaNo to end, either. I love the sound of RevMo!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone who made it through :)
ReplyDeleteI think I may put up my tree tonight. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteYay for your completion and victory of NaNo!!
Well done to everyone who took part in NaNo!
ReplyDeleteI love the NaNoRevMo group too. Sign me up! Have fun decking the halls! We're planning to do that this weekend too in my house.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tara, for the shout out and volunteering your talents! And while I couldn't do NaNo this year, I plan to make up for in December. All shopping done. Two long weekends. Upped word count, here we come! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I failed NaNo for the first time this year. I'm trying to get to the 'I tried and that's awesome' place but I'm not quite there yet.
ReplyDeleteI'll watch a couple of Christmas movies, have some hot chocolate and try again.
Congrats to everyone who reached their goals this month!
Didn't reach Nano goal but I did try. I'll probably join a REVision MoOnth next year. And yeah, Christmas is on it's way.
ReplyDeleteIt's kinda sad that November has come to an end and the energy of everyone around me is dissipating. But so glad everyone accomplished so much. I already went to David's blog and signed up. I think you make the best banners! I totally hope I win :)
ReplyDeleteI've loved the camaraderie and excitement of the ReviMo group. Doggonnit having to come to an end anyway. I agree with you, no matter the progress, you are a success for writing.
ReplyDeleteMajor props to everyone who even attempted NaNo! November has been an extremely slow writing month for me, so I'm hoping December is an improvement!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing nanorevmo! I didn't complete it :( Too many things came up, the computer went down and then I realized that trying to rush through revisions weren't working for me, not when my first draft was so chaotic. But I want to try it again next year!
ReplyDeleteLove that Christmas banner!
Congratulations! The picture's so cute!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! and definitely crank the Christmas jams! Now i'm off to see The Kingpin!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to everyone who participated!! I wasn't able to pull it off, but I got a great story idea out of it, so I'm further along than I was. haha.
ReplyDeleteCute Christmas pic!
The NaNoReviMo sounds fastatic! Congratulations to NaNoWriMo winners!
ReplyDeleteI love your enthusiasm, Tara! Continue writing at your own pace! And keep trying hard to reach your goals! Never give up! :)
Well done everyone who participated in November! I may have to join y'all on your FB group for revisions soon. How do I find y'all?
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya, bring on the cocoa!
I didn't make it but I certainly have more words than I did before! What a cozy fireplace picture :)

Hi Tara .. well done - and as you say a writer's work is never done ..
ReplyDeleteChristmas is coming - lots of stories to tell around this time ...
Cheers and enjoy your decorating and decking the halls .. Hilary
I love your banner. Yeah for Disney castles!
ReplyDeleteYou're so festive! I need to be festive too! I did pretty well with NoNoRevMo...finished up the final polish and book is ready for publication! And I technically failed at NaNoWriMo, but I do have five chapters of a new book that I am really enjoying.
ReplyDeleteLove this blog look!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on NaNoRevMo! NaNo went well for me. And it's so true. It's not if you made the word count, its that we tried :)
Congrats Tara :)
ReplyDelete.....dhole
Congrats to everyone who participated in NaNo and gave it their best shot. I'm really thinking of trying it out next year. And wow, I can't believe it's already December, but I am looking forward to the holidays. Actually I'm not, I'm craving eggnog. I can't find it here in France and I so miss it. Well, actually I miss the rum spiked eggnog, but shhhh, don't tell anyone. (;
ReplyDeleteGreat updates! Thanks, guys!
ReplyDeleteKeep writing and hope you are getting into that holiday spirit!
Congrats to all you Na-noers! Very challenging! I could never do it.
ReplyDeleteLove the way NaNo pushes me every year. I write the same in one month in November as I do over six months the rest of the year.
