I just had to participate in this silly blog hop - "And you are...?" hosted by Emily and Tammy - it's a hoot! Here are the questions...
1. How many speeding tickets have you gotten?
4, 2 in Florida and 2 in Georgia...ah well, I like to go fast.
2. Can you pitch a tent?
sure, I'm mechanically inclined =)
3. What was your worst vacation ever?
first son's first birthday in Disney World, we had no idea why his fever wouldn't go down and he was so cranky until we took him to urgent care. Ear infections in both ears - we spent the majority of the vacation in our room...
4. What was the last thing you bought over $100?
I don't usually spend that much, my computer I guess
5. We're handing you the keys to what?
Time machine!!!!! (can't believe I let that typo go all day yesterday!)
6. What was the last meal you cooked that made even you sick?
I experiment a bunch and usually like what I make, but I remember once I didn't only I can't remember what it was...
7. Fill in the blank: Oh my gosh! Becky, look at her butt! It is so big. She looks like ____?
she likes cheesecake (not good at fat jokes...)
8. What was your first car?
from my parents - 78 blue Celica, bought on my own - 90 blue Celica
9. Your best friend falls and gets hurt. Do you ask if he/she's okay or laugh first?
if it's not too serious, then I laugh while I ask...
10. What's the worst song ever?
Baby, Baby, Baby by Justin Beiber
And to be extra nice, I want to announce the launch of MAKE BELIEVE - a collection of enchanting and exciting fantasy stories by J.A. Belfield, Jennifer M. Eaton, J. Keller Ford, Terri Rochenske, Kelly Said, and Lynda R. Young!

Hi Tara
ReplyDeleteYa I think we are all pretty over that Bieber song by now. Gosh how my daughter loved it tho. :)
You speed demon. lol
ReplyDeleteYes, Baby Baby Baby does rank up there with worst song ever. And my sons will agree.
I love the cover for Make Believe!
I think I live in a cave or something because I don't know any Justin Bieber songs.
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved your answer to #7.
Yeah, totally not a Bieber fan. Fun to read and get to know you a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteDouble ear infection. Poor boy.
ReplyDeleteBeiber is a popular choice today. And very excited for Lynda!
ReplyDeleteYour new blog header looks great.
A trip to the ER on vaca totally qualifies as a bad one. Poor baby.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the Biebster.
Haha! Yes that song is pretty terrible!
ReplyDeleteYou don't like the Beiebs? Shame ;) (I hope you know I'm kidding, 'cause I am)
ReplyDeleteso happy for our dear Lynda!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to say I've never heard a Bieber song. Fun post!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter used to get painful ear infections too, so I know how bad it can get. Must have been a really tough vacation.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lynda! (:
Your poor kiddo. Ear infections are the worst! And four tickets in the highest I've seen so far, but you aren't alone! Someone else has four as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating!
Second time I've seen Bieber for this hop! I feel for your son on the trip, I had so many ear infections as a kid and I can imagine that must have been so miserable for him and for all of you!
ReplyDeleteHappy December to you too!
She looks like cheesecake? Yes, you are bad at insults. I love cheesecake.
ReplyDeleteCute blog hop. I bet a lot of Beiber is cropping up, but only because people probably can't remember the "Since I'm alone now" song that sounded like he was saying "sex with a donut." Ah, the eighties, how I pretend to miss you...
ReplyDeleteBaby, baby, baby...um--yes. She looks like she likes cheesecake...I thought that was funny. :)
ReplyDeleteoh yeah--i remember those awful ear infections--they tend to ruin things!
ReplyDeleteBaby, Baby, Baby! Now that song is stuck in my head... Totally funny, Tara. And holy speeding tickets! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to go fast. And it's so terrible to be on vacation and sick.
ReplyDeleteHa, a criminal in two states. I'm going to call you Smokey and the Bandit. =) Yeah, I'm old.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever heard a Beiber song. LOL
ReplyDeleteOuch, poor kid with two ear infections. As for the other bad - I am not sure I know the Justin Beiber song. I don't always pay attention. This was a fun blog hop. I signed up back when I found it here on your blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat new header, Tara. Can relate to your song choice!
ReplyDeleteI love your Disneyworld banner!
ReplyDeleteMy kids take a gripe with his Never Say Never song. The irony is lost on them.
she likes cheesecake-LOVE it:)
ReplyDeleteUgh. That sounds like a horrible vacation. poor little baby!! I've actually been really lucky with never having a kid get sick on vacation. Although, once at Disney we went to their water park--Typhoon Lagoon. My kids all snorkeled through the shark attraction---and everyone of them broke out in red welts all over their faces from something on the snorkel masks. NOBODY else...just MY kids. haha. Disney gave us free tickets back to the park though...so that was cool. haha
ReplyDeleteHuge bummer about your Disneyworld trip! It's so hard when the little ones get sick!!
ReplyDeleteYour poor son. My daughter gets ear infections and strep a lot. Not fun.
ReplyDeleteThankfully my kids aren't old enough to listen to Beiber. We just listen to a lot of Phineas and Ferb and Disney songs.
That Disney vacation doesn't sound fun at all!
ReplyDeleteThat cover is beautiful!
Ha! I agree with you about the song! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for mentioning Make Believe!! Yay!!
I love that you bought the exact same car that your parents gave you. I always liked the look of them (in the 90s) but never had one.
ReplyDeleteYou want keys to a computer??? haha. At least I found someone else who has speeding tickets (plural) on this blog tour :)
ReplyDeleteThinking of the Miranda Lambert Song now 'Fastest Girl in Town' :)
We're so much alike...except for the song part:) I love Baby baby baby!
ReplyDeleteWhaaa? Baby Baby Baby is the best song ever! Justin Beiber is my boyfriend! haha
ReplyDeleteWas #5 an error? Sorry can't put Baby Baby Baby as my worst song. But it's not one I'd like to hear for hours. Sorry about that Disney trip. Guessing your child's ok. The book cover is beautiful.
ReplyDeletekids sure know how to ruin a vacation!! too bad it was totally legit excuse, right??
ReplyDeleteI love the banner!
ReplyDeleteThat stinks about your vacation, because Disneyworld is pretty awesome!
Your fat joke made crack up :P
Are you telling me, with a straight face, that you DON'T have Bieber fever? Is that what you're telling me?
Oh, how will I go on?! :D
Ugh, Bieber. And poor baby. What a terrible Disney vacation!
ReplyDeleteShannon at The Warrior Muse
Thank you Kelley for pointing out that i didn't fix my editing on #5! ah well! Was wondering why no one mentioned my time machine!
ReplyDeleteAnd baby is now 13 with many wonderful Disney World experiences (and a couple more sick ones) under his belt. We go every other year - my fave place to vacay!
Those speeding tickets were in my 20s, I've slowed down, a little =)
This fest has been fun! Thanks for commenting! Visiting more today!
A time machine!!! Great choice. Sometimes a wormhole will work just as well too.
ReplyDeleteWow! Talk about "Deck the blogs!" Looking great for the holidays, Tara. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can pitch a tent. :)
