Spring Break Monday

Started Spring Break right by seeing Hunger Games with my boys. Sure didn't disappoint! Edge of your seat, dramatic, and heart breaking! Bonus - I love that Lenny Kravitz is Cinna! (only critique, why so many closeups? Do I need to see every crack in her big lips? Really!)

Previews - Avengers = awesome! Prometheus = promising. And Johnny Depp as a heroic vampire in Dark Shadows is killing me! Can't wait!

Short Story BlogfestI've already written my "A Picture Worth 1000 Words" short story for Unicorn Bell bloghop going on right now and I will post a bit of it tomorrow (sorry, it's >1000 words).

And I've got half my a-z posts done, so those will be no brainers - it's the visiting that will take time and I hope to get to as many as my time will allow. Hopefully most of you will take the advice of the A-Z site like

  • keeping it brief
  • removing captcha's (for human verification)
  • and simplifying the side bar for easier and faster loading (somebody tell me if mine takes a while!)
I am really looking forward to finding out themes! Or just seeing what folks come up with!

Your page loads fast for me. Won't ask about mine though...

Avengers looks awesome and I can't wait to see Johnny Depp as a vampire.

I loved the Hunger Games too. And I agree about the closeups. I felt they took away from the bond that Cinna and Katniss shared.

Your blog load just fine for me.

Thanks for not putting a spoiler in your blog re Hunger Games. I have the movie on DVD and was going to watch it last night. Alas, I fell asleep before the chickens did.

See ya on A-Z!

And even if you aren't doing A to Z, get rid of captchas!!!! :)

Glad you got to see Hunger Games with your boys. Fun times!

I'm happy to hear you loved the movie. I'll have to wait until DVD unless I want to go by myself. No one here for me to see it with. You've got a good headstart on your A to Z posts! I can't wait to read them. :)

I really liked Hunger Games too, but I agree...lots of closeups. I also saw it on the ultra screen so they were REALLY BIG closeups :)

You are on the ball! I'm so impressed. I finally decided on my "A" post today but I still haven't written it! lol. That's terrible - I know.

BUT... I DID love HUNGER GAMES! It was freaking awesome!

I'm hoping to catch The Hunger Games before it leaves theaters. I'll prepare myself for the close ups. Thought close ups of Lenny Kravitz are just fine :-)

Johnny Depp? Vampire you say? Oh dear. Someone catch me before I faint.

Getting ready for my A to Z blogging challenge as well.

Look forward to reading your post for the blogfest. Yeah!

Hi there. I saw the Hunger Games last weekend too. It was good but I thought Haymitch could have been a bit drunker. Just visiting different blogs on Alex's insecure writers list. Feel free to pop by mine if you'd like :)
