Here's the breakdown:
1600 words a day at 120 words per page (handwritten) = 13 pages a day!
That totals 390 pages of writing! I had to buy more notebooks! Thank goodness I use front and back so it's 195 pages to use which is only 2 100 page notebooks. Not to mention the pens! I'll need new pens! Love shopping for school/writing supplies!
Sorry for the mathiness! Putting my goal into numbers helps me get ahold of what I have to do and keep track of them. Number are concrete. I write accomplished numbers on the calendar to see the results. Add or subtract them from the daily goal and I can see how far behind or ahead I am and how far I have left to go. Miles on my journey...
This is a lot of numbers! I better get started! Thanks in advance for all your support! I'm off to camp!
PS - Forgot to add on the haiku I wrote for Sensational Haiku Wednesday...
Talent
When born with talent
do not squander, nourish it
and use it wisely
Talented fingers
melt away stress reaching each
perfect pressure point!

You know what you need to do and you have the supplies. Don't panic - you're ready!
Try not to put so much pressure on yourself - one day's goal at a time! :) Some days you'll surpass the goal, others not so much. Be open to making adjustments as you go. Oh, and have fun!! :)
Sounds like you have everything under control! :D Good luck!
I love new pens and pads too! Good luck. Don't panic - just think how great you'll feel when those pads start filling up!
Good luck! What an exciting month you have ahead!
You can do it! You can do it! Good luck. I love the word mathiness by the way!
Are you worried about hand cramps? I would be :)
You go girl!!! Crunch those numbers, fill those notebooks, use lots of colored pens (from the picture, sorry). Enjoy Camp NaNo!
I wish I could join you, but I'm in the last days of my 100 Days of Revision Campaign and stuck in a sticky spot of my story.
Big HUGS for your journey!
Good luck with that. Hope you are successful.
Good luck Tara!
Is this a self-imposed quota? Sounds like you're 'talented fingers' will be pretty busy....Don't forget to take time to look around...
You're handwriting 50,000 words? Bless your soul! I admire anyone who hand-writes novels these days. I just can't do it. I'll be cheering you on each step of the way :)
I'm not sure I understand such anxiety over a voluntary undertaking. But I'm sure you'll do fine - and if you do fall short it's not the end of the world. Good luck!
Day one and you're looking fine to me! Have fun with it!
ah, yes, talented haiku writer ~ great blog ~ Use anxiety to your advantage ~~ thanks, namaste, (A Creative Harbor)
You can do it!! Good luck, Tara! And, great haiku as always. :)
This is your mother speaking, take care of your hands, you are a go getter. I know you can do this, just know when to rest.
I'm so impressed you actually "write" your WiPs! I wouldn't even be able to read mine if I did this. Thank goodness my printing comes out better on a whiteboard :)
Good luck with CampNano!
You must be multi-talented to be doing all this writing by hand!
She Has a Talent
Don't Panic, and Carry a Towel.
Also, I love that your mother comments on your blog. Mine can't seem to figure out how to make that new fangled internet thing work out for her... And she is a retired computer programmer.
Have fun at camp... anything that justifies office supply shopping is going to be something great.
Good Luck with Camp NaNoWriMo! Break a pencil!
Such a great visual in your second haiku! Enjoy camp and good luck!
Good luck at camp, and with the writing! Very nice haiku!
Handwriting, I admire you for that. Mine's terrible. Camp nano! You can do it! We'll do it! I did my words for the day (just 1710 I think!) but hey, day 1 down, um 30 to go!
Good luck and have fun!
I would get writer's cramp. good luck.
Good luck! Sounds like you have a stable plan. But may I ask, why do you have to write it all in one month?
You can do it! *cheers* GO! GO! GO! Good luck!
All the best for the challenge. Love the haiku. Nicely said.
You can TOTALLY do it! :) I'll be wishing you the best of luck!
And love the haiku!
Quite appropriate and inspiring!
Oh my gosh!!! You write in notebooks??? Crazy! Good for you. I would not have the patience to write it all out.
Talent should be nourished ... I totally agree :-)
Use wisely!...Lovely message within haiku...Beautiful one!
Very talented haiku.
Good luck with the 50,000 word goal. I hope you don't get RSI from all that writing. It's a great goal, though. Good for you!
nancy, i forgot to mention this anxiety is for giving camp nano a try!
Best of luck with Camp Nanowrimo Tara!!
I'm camping, too! Good luck. :)
Good luck and happy writing:)
Best of luck.
Just remember one day could be low and another day could be quadruple! Don't panic if you come up short a little you will pick it back up!
Thinking of you!
