And now for my B Book Event Tips:
BUS-TA MOVE - Don't wait to sign up for a book event. They fill up fast and early. Get on the BUS!
BE BOLD - At any given event, visitors will come and go. If you don't greet them, they will pass on by. They may pass you by even if you do greet them, but they definitely will if you don't.
BRAND! - You are selling something, you are selling you! And the only way to sell the brand that is you is to give out stuff with your name/picture on it! BOOKMARKS are essential! and a BANNER is eye-catching! People may walk away from your table, but they will take a bookmark if you but offer it. And I can't tell you how many people have complimented me on my banners. They aren't as expensive as you think. Totally worth the investment.

That's a great cartoon, and the second time today that I've seen A Beer for the Shower mentioned on a blog.
I did a signing at my local bookshop/cafe - I ended up having a great conversations with all the people waiting for their lunch! Captive audience :-)

Great B advice! And I think it's great to give fellow bloggers a nod on the A to Z! Congrats on doing this for 5 years. I'm only at year four.
I know I need to get a new banner, or at least do something to fix mine. I discovered it's cut off on the right on mobile devices, but I can't figure out how to resize it so the text isn't too small while also avoiding being chopped off. The banner on my secondary blog luckily doesn't have that problem.

Ooh, bookmarks, that's a good idea. We need to get cracking on that. We've got a pretty killer full size banner that always travels with us, though. So it's good to be half prepared.
