I thought making a promotional video would be fun. And I did have a few laughs. But the editing was a big pain! I used several different apps and they all did different things but none of them turned out quite right... so I gave up. Now I'm cranky! I really could use an extra hour.
Oh, right. Stupid daylight savings STOLE my extra hour this morning!
Okay, I've griped enough. I know I can't be the only one struggling with making a promotional video, though I tend to be a perfectionist about publications... There's a ton of brilliant authors joining me for
The Thing That Turned Me anthology, and we're all making videos. I'm sure everything will work out...

I thought about making trailers for my books, but after I went to the trouble of downloading Windows Movie Maker (which was recommended to me), it wouldn't work because my laptop's too old and doesn't have the fancy "sound card" or enough RAM or I don't know what in it... I also don't have a camera on my laptop -- no Skype or vids for me (which is a relief actually). But I hope you'll figure out the video thing and be able to post for the blog hop.

Daylight savings didn't affect me much this year because I didn't have to work the next day so the only thing that happened was I stayed in bed an hour later. =D

I love the idea of a video promotion for the anthology. Very cool. I'm in two separate 2016 author groups and for one of them we're making vlogs to promote each of us around our release dates. I'll be honest, though; I'm terrified to do mine. #shivers

My Monday wasn't so great but I had a better rest of the week with my little guy for spring break. :) I attempted to make a video for that too, and I failed. I don't have an iPhone or a computer with a camera, so I must use my little handheld camera. And now with the updates to Windows, the videos on the old camera aren't compatible with it. *sighs* Hope you have a great weekend!
