And now it's time for Sensational Haiku Wednesday, topic: silhouette
Shadow of a Man
Just a silhouette
Mysterious, deceiving
Make no assumptions
Backlit emphasis
Concealing imperfections
Beauty emerges
Silhouette stumper
I misspell every time
Spellcheck proves its worth

Two very different shades to your silhouettes. Enjoyed both.
Nice haiku. I love spellcheck!
haha! I totally need help with that one too :)
Love the devil one and the last - I had to keep sounding the word out as I tapped the keys.
Love silhouettes (yes, I cheated and copied off your word for the spelling).
Especially favored in the sunset with an old barn or house on the horizon or a cowboy standing at the end a barn alleyway with the light behind him.
I think I'll backlight myself in my next photo. An outline of me would do, right?
Fabulous haiku's. (once again!) I am fascinated with silhouettes. They're awesome.
Terrific haiku! I misspell silhouette every time! Thanks for visiting my blog.
As always...love your poetry Tara :)
I like the last one! Made me chuckle.
I love the second one--amazing how flattering shadows can be :)
Great haikus Tara. I joined in the haiku challenge for the first time today.
Excellent haiku ~ love the photos ~namaste, carol (A Creative Harbor) linked w/ Sensation Haiku
The devilish haiku is awesome!
Your poetry is always riveting. Nice job. Now I've got to go see what my silhouette looks like...
Hmmm...maybe that's a bad idea lol!!
Nice threesome...true, too!
Tara Tyler...
I always misspelled it too
Loved your Haikus....G
Hehehe! I misspell it too. That darn h.
Have you ever heard of Jim C. Hines' Goblin series? His books have a big eared goblin on the covers.
Excellent variety here. The last one cracks me up. :)
A friend of mine is working on illustrating one of my children's books and she sometimes posts drawings of fantasy creatures.
Here are some long-eared goblins (or, I think they're goblins):

These are illustrations from a book her mom wrote. (^__^)
you people always make my day!
so many different minds and thoughts, all coming out in positive encouragement.
THANK YOU!
Ha, loved all 3 haiku! Terrific takes on theme. I suspect you share #3 with the majority ;) Spellcheck is our friend!
