Guess what!
Today, I got to go back in time and give my teenage self some advice over at Dear Teen Me! Check it out, if you need a laugh today =D
I was also honored to be a part of The Writer Diaries post "What We're Looking Forward to in September" by SK Anthony. She's such a sweetheart!
I also am happy to give a shout out to... Katie Teller, who recently put a new chapter on Wattpad from DANCING IN THE ATHENIAN RAIN. Do any of you guys use Wattpad? I heard it's the latest thing for putting your writing out there... Was wondering if anyone found it helpful? I'm putting a short story on it to try it out - a horror-comedy, just in time for Halloween! I'll share the link when I get it done...
And speaking of short stories... In case you hadn't heard, the IWSG is supporting its members yet again. This time with a cool short story contest! I just so happened to have an outline of a story lying around and typed it up over the long weekend. The theme for the anthology is "alternate history/parallel universe" and my story fit right in! The funny thing is, a few A to Z challenges ago, I came up with some alphabetical titles and blurbs, and this story is one of them! It's called Quakes on Q Day of all letters!
I encourage you to enter. It's a great way to get those creative juices flowing!
What advice would you give yourself as a teen? What are you working on? Entered any contests lately?

Thanks for plugging the IWSG Anthology contest! Awesome you already have a story that fits.
I would definitely tell my teen self not to worry too much about the future and to enjoy life more. Have an awesome day.
Do share your link when you put your story up on Wattpad. To be honest, I have a Wattpad account but have no idea how to truly utilize it. I'm not sure what the goal is by putting your work up there. Is it so an agent/publisher can see it? Is it to gain fans for your already or to-be published works? I'm just not sure.
My teen self: To be true to yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. You were made the way you are for a reason. It's all good.
Thanks for the shout out for the anthology. I would tell my teen self to take better care of my joints at the time.

Yes, thanks for pimping the contest.
If I could talk to my younger self, I'd take a copy of my own Overcoming Obstacles with Spunk and hand it to myself.
No! You're a sweetheart! *kiss, kiss, kiss* lol
Your work deserves to be mentioned everywhere! Just doing my part to make it happen ;)
There's too much that I'd want to say to my teenage self, it'd take a book.
Off to check out the other links!
I'll have to go see your advice for teen you.
I forgot to add a shout out for the contest. Egads. I'll get that in soon!
Sounds like you are a writing tsunami!
Good for you!
Going to check out your other posts.
It's almost Sim day!

I'd tell myself as a teen not to take out any student loans when I went to university! I'm still paying them off!!!
Advice to my teenage self: Remember, it's not that important in the long run. That would cover most of my teen dramas.
