No time for #love

That's just silly. There's always time for love! But I'm going to an Anti-Valentine's party with my latest Muse for Sarah Foster's Musiversary!

So here's the how the party goes...

I brought Grumpy Writer Cat, or GW. He just looks at me and I shut my social sites, feeling guilty for not writing... and he's my anti-valentine because he's a no nonsense kitty. I mean cat. He hates when I call him kitty. (But he's so cute!)

Neither of us is very romantic, but I'm definitely the silly, sentimental one. I gave him a bow tie. He hates it. But we brought chocolate and low fat milk so he's amicable.

For tunes, I'm sure Sarah's going to play "Love Stinks," so I'll say "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi.

Here's a great anti-Valentine party game, Pin the Zit on the Ex.

I will eat too much, drink too much, and have an awesome time!
GW will drive us home. He keeps me from going over the edge!

And of course we brought the hostess a gift - a free ebook! Congrats, Sarah & Jordan! (Sarah, email me which ebook you would like!)

Thanks for the present! And thanks for coming to my party! :D
It's always good to have a muse that will stare you down until you start writing. I love the idea of pin the zit on the ex! We'll definitely have to play that!

You Give Love A Bad Name is one of those songs I always sing at the top of my lungs regardless of where I am. Nice selection!

And I love Grumpy Writer Cat's bow tie. Even if he doesn't.

(Congrats on Jolissa...)

Having a cat for a Muse sounds fun although I'm more of a dog person.

I need a grumpy cat on my desk to get me to focus too! Then again, I have an actual grumpy cat who often sits on my lap as I try to type over his long-hair, seventeen-pound-furbody. If I annoy him or ignore him, he bites. He's sort of an anti-muse that way.

Awww, GW is so cute! I want to cuddle him, but I won't because he won't like it and I wouldn't want to be cuddled if I didn't like it either.

"YEAH, Bon Jovi!" Will Scarlet cheers. I hurry aside, lest I go down in a catastrophic air-guitar accident.
You think if I pretend I don't like cats, GW will let me pet him?

Oh Grumpy Cat. My cat is Won't-Get-Off-My-Lap-Cat-When-I-Need-To-Write. (I can't tell you how many times I had to type that to get it right with this fuzzy boy on my lap!) Yay for Jolissa! :)

Wishing you all the best with your plunge! Exciting times.

I didn't used to be very romantic. That was my hubby's realm...until a few years back. Suddenly everything has to have a touch of romance or it's worthless.

Pin the Zit on the Ex... LOL.
