Time to Write - that phrase has multiple meanings... It's time to write! Time to get back to the keyboard and let the words flow. Also, ...

Look around, find an object, and for 3 minutes write about that object.
That helped me to get thinking and keep on writing. I hope you get your muse back.
Fida (:
Tara, thank you for stopping by today. You didn't have to do that.
I would recommend going back to what I learned as a young one. I know you like to write poetry. I honestly believe the poem is a gateway to the soul.
Don't worry about style, rhyme, meter, length, enjambment, or any of that other gobbly-gook.
Just let the words bleed. Talk to Tara and put her answers on paper.
It's in there. You might be amazed what comes out.
Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Oh goodness, when this happens to me...and it happens often with writing and just in general. I read a really good juicy book. This gets me going and excited to write.
I sure hope you pull yourself out. It is never fun feeling that way.
I found your blog through Shelly, congrats on your poetry win:)
When this happens to me, I either go run or go drive while listening to music as loud as my ears will take it. I start with some sad songs to let myself accept and acknowledge the ick/funk feeling. And then I gradually throw some uplifting stuff in so that eventually I find my way out.
sounds like you have some good suggestions! Hope the funk leaves soon :(
I write in my journal. That's where I learned over the years to find my voice, and my truths, and it's where I fall when I can't find any other words.
I don't know what it's like for others, but I'd recommend starting with the journal and understanding the other words will return soon enough.
And I'm sorry.
fida, thanks! i used the drabble and it did help =)
