Blogs started out similar to facebook. People posting families pictures, recipes, feelings, etc, like a diary to share with the world! Hence they were dubbed Web Logs -> weblog -> blog. We must abbreviate! And that opens another can of something I will save for another time!
Now, come away with me in a postcard for Sensational Haiku Wednesday!
Picture perfect place
Is any destination
Memories are made
Relax, enjoy, breathe
Worries wash away with tide
Take it to the beach
Having a great time
No responsibilities
Mind on vacation

LOVE your haikus :)
Air conditioning
Stale and cold, freezing bare toes
I yearn for that beach

Talking of which, newly blogging and seeking connections/cool people to follow so going to follow you!
Postcards sure do recall memories. Nicely done.
Two great Haiku.
My favourite was the second - I often feel that my mind is on a permanent vacation and never around when I need it.
