"T" is for Tweeting Anyone?

Not me. Not yet. Not enough Time! Maybe I will try it out in May, since after these two challenges are over I will be looking for something to do.

I let Jane Friedman from Writer's Digest sift through tweets for me. She makes a nice, neat, categorized list of the best tweets in industry every Sunday. This is from last weekend. Her blog, "There Are No Rules," also gives great advice for writers. You should add her to your blog roll if you haven't already.

If you do tweet - and I know many of you do! - tell me how you like it and why is it so addicting for some? As an outsider, it seems like a lot of jumbled nonsense. Like picking up in the middle of a bunch of phone conversations at the same time. How does it work?

I don't tweet much anymore, mainly because there are so many glitches almost every time I log in. I would like to get back to it, though.

Me! *raises hand* I'm a Twit! I mean, I tweet - occassionally, sometimes, once in awhile . . .

I find Twitter rather intimidating. It's like being in a huge party and I only know one or two people, and and everyone else seems to know each other really well and I don't want to just jump into the conversation 'cause that would be rude, so I end up just standing in a corner, sipping my drink.

I was thinking about tweeting but couldn't afford that kind kind of cell phone or the monthly expense that goes with it. But it's probably just as well; blogging is enough and I should probably spend my time writing rather than tweeting anyway.

Tweeting is enjoyable when you have an audience that genuinely wants to know what you're doing. Otherwise, it's a little sad. I might be whining, but I think it's mostly for celebrities and very popular people. But if you want a big following, you have to start somewhere, I guess.

I use Twitter both on my computer and on my phone. I enjoy it. I have it hooked up to Facebook so my Tweets show on my FB profile.
I follow mainly people I know and some celebrities from TV shows that I like. I also follow writers, authors and some agents that I find interesting. Lots of instant info out there. Contests, free offers, jobs. You never know what you are going to read.

Well , I'm in the same boat as you . I've never tweeted/twatted/twitted/twutted ~ turning out to be a tongue-twister (which is the correct one ?) and don't know the first thing aout it !! LOL
I'm in the dark ~ haven't a clue about it ...
Would like to learn , though ...

I tweet because I think I am supposed to tweet, but I don't get it. I don't understand twitter. But since I am laugh_quotes, I try to tweet out a few funny quotes everyday. Nothing personal on twitter from me.

Hi Tara!

I've just discovered your blog through A-Z, looking forward to following! I'm on Twitter but don't use it much, I can't seem to get into it. This list from Jane Friedman is great though, thanks for sharing it!

Nice to meet you! :)
