Sunday Funny - Are you ready for some football?

It was a great weekend for football! Two of my boys played in our "Grimes Bowl" this weekend. The 2nd grader did very well, won 1 of 2 and the 6th grader won his game 27 to 0, making several good plays and tackles. And mom worked as volunteer to help film a game before my son's, I was on Camera 1! "Uh, Camera 1, you missed another pass..." "Oops!" But overall I did good! I'll post a link to the videos when they put them up. It airs on local public service tv =)

Oh the chaos of football season. You're a good mom to man the camera though. I'm so bad with that stuff, I am always missing what I need to have recorded. lol. And I love the comic. Good ol' Charlie Brown. I love the funny pages. :)

You seem to have a very sports-orientated family! That's fantastic!

And that ongoing theme is one of my faves from Charlie Brown, too.

Otherwise, we aren't talking football in our house right now. We are Kansas City Chiefs fans. :)

I think it's sweet you volunteered! I'm sure your boys will enjoy reliving that game. :)

Ack! Football season--my hubby is way into that bizarre virtual man world known as fantasy football. I won't see him for the next few months. I love that you are the public TV camera lady! Maybe you can do your own talk show!

Ahhhh. Football. It's been too long. My uncoordinated accident prone son would like to start playing this year. I would love it but I might need a third job to come up with the funds!

What's with the fall leaves already? Summer is not over yet my friend!
