PAD #3 and Stylish Versatility

I apologize for being slow. I am finally acknowledging these sweet awards from these wonderful people...

Thanks to Cassie Mae & Lacey                    Thank you, Angela OP!
And just found out today...Thank you, Julie!

So I will oblige you with seven fun facts again. Hmmm. Seven cities I have lived...
  1. Born in Plymouth, MA - going next summer to visit, haven't been up there in 30 years - WOW!
  2. Teen years in West Palm Beach, FL - great place to be a teen, glad I don't live there now, too many bugs! and tourists! Maybe when I retire I'll become a snowbird =)
  3. College at Harding University in Searcy, AR - yep, up with them thar hillbillies! A right nice group o' folks!
  4. Swinging singles in Atlanta, GA - no place I'da rather been! It was the best of times, it was the worst of times (I've heard that somewhere...) and now it's all high rises and garages. Perfect timing.
  5. Married and moved to Spartanburg, SC - had first baby. I did not fit into their society. Glad we were not there long.
  6. Had next child in Detroit, MI - near husband's relatives, too much snow and cold
  7. Had last child in Cincinnati, OH - current residence, nice, safe, boring - perfect atmosphere to raise a family!
And now the bestowing...

Congrats on the awards! I don't think I've lived in seven cities. I'm going to have to think on that...

Nice, safe, boring :) Love it!

Thanks for the award! I'm currently writing a story about a woman who ran away from her past in Chicago to live a simple and safe life in Cincinnati. Unfortunately, the past life is dragging her back to Chicago.

Born and raised in Michigan myself. Lansing. I concur about the snow and cold. I'm getting cols just thinking about it.

OH my gosh girl - you've been EVERYWHERE! I agree FL would be the perfect place to be a teen. Very cool. Congrats on the awards!

I grew up in Jacksonville, AR. We were practically Hillbilly cousins. Well probably not. I moved to Alaska when I was 18. Congrats on the awards.

Liz, it was nice to visit AZ, GC and LV, but I wouldn't want to live there - 100+ all summer? You know there's a problem when the outdoor malls have misters built in! =)

Emily, what's your count?

Laura, that is too funny! midwest is the place to procreate =)

Stephen, it was nice for a couple of years but I'm glad I'm not a Michigander anymore.

Angela, SOOO-EEE! I still root for those Razorbacks! Honest goodness!

Abby, where the wind blows...or the employment ships us

Jenny, my cuz lived in AK for a long time - I will ask you the same question - are you nuts? =)

Michael - ha haha! i know!

Marcy, come down and meet me at a conference some time and you can visit him =)

Yay! The Lovely Award for me! Thank you, Tara. You rock, girl :-)

Love your list of random facts. How funny -- each of your babies was born in different places. That's really interesting.

The poem is so beautiful. Wow.
