Are you satisfied? 2

I forgot to ask about your gifts! Did you get what you wanted? Did your kids show proper appreciation?

The kids were good and happy for most part, aside from a little jealousy from one. And we are going through what they have this weekend to donate. As for me, I mentioned my books yesterday. Excited to start reading them! Other highlights: I got a surprise gift, a lovely necklace from my mother in law. And my parents got me an awesome study bible that I will use for my bible class - chock full of historic info and definitions, very interesting! But my best gift was my "date in a box" - my Hub got creative! He put pics & GCs for dinner at a restaurant I like, movie theater & Sherlock Holmes ad (can't wait to see!) and cash for a sitter. I was so impressed!

As we round out this holiday season,
May your travels be safe and your returns few!

Oh jealousy is such a human emotion, isn't it? I think it's amazing that it starts so young.

What a fun idea for a gift. Hmmm. My anniversary is in January . . .

Your husband is awesome! My hubby and I got a mutual gift: we ordered a new platform for our bed. One with drawers as we need the extra storage space. While I love him dearly, the guy doesn't have an ounce of romance in him. Treasure your Date in a Box! :) Happy New Year!

We exchanged a small gift to each other at home before we traveled. You'll know who sent this when I tell you my gift. Truffles!!!!!!!!!

Hubby gets extra cool points for the "date in a box".

With the New Year rounding the corner, I hope you and the fam have a wonderful time and get into a blast-filled 2012 groove.

Great job Mr. Tara Tyler! That sounds like a lot of fun.

I got much more than I deserved and I gave a few gifts to surprise my husband for a change.

I'm glad its over.

Happy New Year! Best of luck to us on our writing this year.

WOW! I am so impressed with the hubby's gift! That is impressive! Christmas turned out great here, and luckily the kids were happy with what they got. I always love that.

As for me.... I got books (of course) and I get to go to the Storymakers conference in May! That's all I wanted and it was great!

What a thoughtful hubby you have! :-)

My best gift was from my amazing daughter - a pair of tickets to go see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. She's such an awesome kid!
