Miranda Preston is a walking contradiction. Beautiful on the outside, but, insecure, haunted and damaged on the inside. Despite these contradictions, she’s ready to start Another New Life.
When her talent wins her a piano scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin, Miranda arrives on campus determined to experience everything college has to offer and to keep her secrets in the past where they belong.
An easy task, until the first guy who catches her eye happens to be someone, she’s known all her life.
Eight years have passed since the last time Miranda and Troy saw each other. He reminds her of the best and worst times of her life, but she can’t think about one without dwelling on the other. As they grow closer, every day their attraction reminds them they are no longer kids.
The epic romantic love story that is Miranda and Troy seems to be destined for a happy ending, but Miranda knows it's only a matter of time before her secret is discovered. A secret that will not only destroy their relationship, it will destroy Troy, too.
Can Miranda focus on her future with Troy while preventing her past from tearing them apart all over again?

Yes we should always have something to jot everything down. You don't know when inspiration will hit and yesterday was a big one for me. Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations, Sydney!
Hey, we need the humorous characters.
I swear I love all of these goblins!
I wish I had followed the jot it down advice earlier this week. Had an idea and didn't jot it down and now I can't remember it. Ugh!!
Really liking this Broken Branch Falls...If I don't jot it down, I forget...which happens a lot...
Yay for Sydney! It's a great cover. Have a terrific weekend, Tara. :)
I keep a notebook beside my bed. I don't know why, but I often get great ideas when I am trying to fall asleep. Ah... that crazy brain.
I really like the A to Z writing advice, Tara. :-) Good idea for the challenge! :-) I do always have a pen and pad with me. :-) Excellent advice.
I use my phone when I need to make notes - my handwriting is so bad, I don't use a notebook :)

I always have a notebook around, too. It's a must.
And I can't wait to meet Jordy, and all the rest.
If I don't jot it down, it don't get done. My mind is not the crucible it once was. It has taken on a seive ish quality.
Congrats again to Sydney.
Love the fun of your characters, Tara!
Congrats, Sydney on you cover and book!
I can't hear the name Jordy without thinking of the guy from Star Trek Next Generation with the bionic eye implants (though I think he spelled it Geordie).
Excellent advice about jot it down. You need to be prepared when a great idea sneaks up on you!

I always have a notebook around to jot down my ideas in. Trouble is, I get a lot of ideas when I'm driving, so by the time I've reached my destination, I've forgotten my idea. I need one of those recording things.
I carry a journal everywhere. I had one with me at the dr's office today and received my fare share of odd looks. I love the name Jordy!!!
I keep a notebook by my bed, one on the kitchen table, and another in my purse. I've been thinking about adding one to the bathroom décor. :-)

Like the same job comment. Jot it down is great advice.
I agree, great advice.
Tara, thank you for sharing my cover on your blog. I appreciate it and thanks to your readers for their great comments.
Friends who *seem* air-headed can be the most fun. :)
Jot it down... I have finally started to use my phone more for this - I find sending an email to myself works best - I can't help wondering what Miranda's secret is - I'm to check of Sydney's website now... Reflex Reactions
Jotting it down is a great reminder. Isn't Sydney Aaliyah's cover wonderful.
So true about jotting things down. I don't know how many times I've wished for a pencil and paper. If I don't write it down immediately, it's gone.
