I'm exhausted, but I'm celebrating anyway

Happy Friday!

The good news is, I'm teaching. The bad news is, I have no time (or energy) left to blog, write, read, etc - i.e. no ME time! I've been swamped! It's not permanent, and I'm hoping things will settle down, now that the first week of school is over, but I want to apologize for not getting around very much this week.

Courtesy Vikki's weekly hop...

  • I celebrate teaching a great group of kids, hopeful to reach through and get them to learn a little math!
  • I celebrate my beautiful friend, Patty, for bringing Pop Travel on vacation with her and taking pictures of it - I've been showing them off at Facebook, here are a few...

  • I celebrate my awesome dad for taking Pop Travel to work and getting his co-workers to pose, reading Pop Travel. Here he is...

So, I'm tired, but I'm happy!
And I am setting some time aside this weekend to visit my blog friends. I miss you guys!

Oh, Tara! This weekend you need to devote at least 2 hours to ME time. Hide in the closet with a book and flashlight if you have to. :)

Wait a minute! POP TRAVEL is having a better vacation than I've ever had. Is it fair to dangle it right in front of me like that? lol

Cool pics! Have a great weekend! :-)

It's hard when life gangs up on you. I am sure that first of week of school is the worst. You will find your groove and settle into a routine that allows for some ME TIME. Congrats on your book getting around. Love the pics:)

Teaching is an exhausting job!! Your book looks great!

I've never wanted to be a teacher, and have avoided it like the plague - not only SO much work, but I don't like a roomful of people watching everything I do while I talk :P

P.S. awesome pics of people with your book! :D

Those are awesome pics!!! So exciting to see Pop Travel out and about!! :)

I don't start back to school under day after Labour Day but I feel your pain! My classroom hasn't been waxed yet and everything is in the hall! *sigh* It's going to be nuts!

It looks like your book had a great vacation with plenty of action! Family support is such a great kickoff, isn't it?

May the next months be just as exciting for you and your kids, but not as exhausting. :)

Congrats on all of the traveling your book has been doing. Fabulous!

Hopefully this week was a little less stressful- but the start of school is always so busy (my co-author is a teacher and she started this week. I know she has felt like she no time to do anything else). I hope you have a wonderful school year!
