Day 26: Daily Routine #30DaysofGratitude

I'm thankful for my daily routine.

I'm a creature of habit and I don't like change (stop sending me tech UPDATES!)

My routine is a comfort to me. Wake up early, coffee, breakfast on the way to work, a lovely school day schedule, grading and dinner at home, a little relaxing, and bed. Each day basically the same with minor changes for the store or tutoring or other things that come up. Routines are sanity in a chaotic world.

I also like breaking up the monotony of routines with weekends and holidays and trips. It's a happy balance!

Do you love your routine?

I've just come from a blog where we were discussing the blogging routines (if any) that we had. Normally a person who thrives from routine for many reasons this seems to have flown out of the window this year ... and especially lately. Something that I thought would have filled me with anxiety and yet, stern talks with myself that I really must get my finger out aside, I'm finding a lack of routine relaxing. How long this will last though ....

If I had a good routine, I would be so productive. I've done it in the past so I know I can do it. Covid plus Hubs' illness threw me off any kind of routine. My goal for December is to get back to a routine. Thanks, Tara, for introducing me to 30 Days of Gratitude. It's been very beneficial to my mental health.

Hi Tara - I'm not good with routine - I'll always do what I need to do and be there when needed ... but my habits have changed ... lots more time and I need to do a lot more reading etc ... all the best -this coming week - Hilary
