Kick start Monday - Now what am I gonna read?

I finished MOCKINGJAY, the last *sniff* book *sniff, sniff* in the Hunger Games trilogy. I hate crying! And that's all I have to say about that, except, if you haven't read these books, they are worthy. That's 2 books in one month and for me, that's unbelievable - they're that good!

And just in time to tease me, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY (8/5/11) put this in my mailbox. I love the casting, especially now that they're in costume! And they're filming, so I'm hoping for next summer release, but what do I know? (They're sure to add more value to your life than Twilight ever did.)

(Katniss - Jennifer Lawrence)
(with Gale - Liam Hemsworth)
(Peeta - Josh Hutcherson)
If you have any suggestions of riveting books for me to read, bring em on!

I keep hearing so many good things about The Hunger Games. I'll have to add the series to my ever-growing list.

Right now I'm reading Ghost Story, book 13 of The Dresden Files, but I've a load of others to dig into after that.

No new books to recommend at the moment. BUT, I did relish the Hunger books and I'm looking forward to the movie. These are awesome photos.

I guess I'm going to have to break down and read these books. My TBR pile will never end.

I just finished Die for Me by Amy Plum, sort of a supernatural romance adventure tale. Think Twilight but set in Paris, and NO sparkly vampires. I really liked it.

I love the Hunger Games trilogy. And now I'm very excited for the movie to come out. I've already told the hubster to take me. :D

I have a lot of books in my TBR pile. One off the top of my mind is Divergent (people kept telling me I need to reade it). ALso Gone by Michael Grant, which is sitting on my nightstand. I also have an ARc of The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler.

Hunger Games is sooo good. Hard to read at parts because of how intense it is, but so good.

I'm currently reading some lighter books that have been making me laugh and that are a lot of fun. I finished "My Fair Godmother" by Janette Rallison yesterday and started the sequel, "My Unfair Godmother." It's like...a smashup of wishes gone wrong with fairytales and modern girls shoved into the Middle Ages. Might be a good read after something so intense.

Paul, I will check out the Dresden Files, thanks!

Catherine, I can't wait for movie too - hope I don't get too excited and then disappoint myself

Cathy, ah Paris with vampires in love, sounds romantic and creepy =)

Cherie, I will make mine take me too and I heard Divergent is good, I will pick it up

Laura, I love middle ages stories, and I also need to read this book about a girl name Persephonie...

The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson - brilliant, intense, scary, awesome, romantic, too true at times. So worth a read (No it's not actually about a gargoyle). My review/post about it is here: http://bit.ly/nFimRy
